This year Isola Estate was privileged in picking up a gold medal at the national Pride in Print awards in Wellington. With the help of our print and production partners Rapid Labels. This award was based on the production as well as the design of our 2007 label concept, and was pitted against many other label designs from around the country. In our eyes image and design is as important to what is inside the bottle as well. Congratulations to Murray and the crew at Rapid Labels for all their hard work

On Tuesday the 9th of June Waiheke Wine Growers conducted an evening of media, trade and public tasting of their wines at Prime Restuarant in the PWC building downtown. 17 producers exhibiting 60 wines were present. Isola Estate was there with Andre and Chris Lush our current vineyard manager to talk about our wines. Both wines were well received by the tasters with many noting the concentration of the 2008, while others preferred the delicateness of the cooler 2007 vintage. This was an extremely successful event with the restaurant packed from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.
